Formed in 2018, Bearded Dragon is living proof that you can be more than just a one-genre stereotype.  It started as a simple beat producer and then took years of musical experience, likes and dislikes and turned it into what it is today.  With everything from hip hop beats to severely down-tuned, in your face metal and everything in between, you're sure to find something you like.

My Story

Being brought up on things like Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Poison and so on, I've been banging my head as long as I can remember.  I watched my Dad play in bands and always wanted to do the same.  It was that joy that led me to first want to pick up an instrument.

I played drums through school and started guitar somewhere in there and it only grew my passion.  I took part in concert bands, school pep bands and even started my own band with some friends playing 2000's pop punk songs that we all loved.  My tastes shifted towards bands like Sum 41, New Found Glory, Simple Plan and so on. That led me to the Emo music that I still love today in the tune of My Chemical Romance, The Used and Senses Fail. Those influences can be heard in my music even today and I still enjoy a good time warp back to the early/mid 2000s when my favorite albums were hitting stores.

Later on, I got into some heavier music and the metal bug bit me and stuck with me.  I got into bands like Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium, In Flames and As I Lay Dying.  The rawness of the music while staying so melodic was so appealing to me that it shifted my focus musically and we even changed the band to go towards that sound.

Since then, I've taken pieces that I've liked from scenes like, Hardcore, Post-Hardcore, Emo and even death metal.  Channeling everything from Escape The Fate to Slaughter To Prevail, You'll here a huge mix of everything from me, even including my guilty pleasure that is DooWop.

Now I spend my time writing recording and producing my own music and helping other musicians get a start in the industry.
